Call up Kesha to have her be one of your special guests. Show the world you’re on her side, and by association, any other victims of rape and/or abuse whose stories get dismissed too easily as “defamation”. Make as big of a “fuck you” statement to Dr. Luke and other abusers as possible while still making it appropriate enough for your young audience.

We already saw with the whole Apple Music thing how powerful your voice is when it comes to shaping the entire music industry. So many music industry execs are not taking Kesha’s story seriously, including the Billboard execs who demoted it to a single “who’s lying, Kesha or Dr. Luke?” question on a recent survey they handed out to music industry professionals. Really, though, it’s a high-profile example of a greater issue feminists are continually combatting.
